Machining Miniature Medical Marvels - IncisionTech Contributes to Article in Medical Product Outsourcing Magazine

Bob Walden, Market Manager - Orthopedic and Ophthalmic Markets, recently contributed to an article in Medical Product Outsourcing Magazine on Machining and Laser Processing trends for minimally invasive procedures. The article, "Machining Miniature Medical Marvels", provides a current perspective on how strong niche companies with leading technologies reduce risk and time to market for device OEMs.

In the article, Bob states "We use diagnostic equipment to examine the current product or its competitors and then we determine the current level of performance and how different changes in manufacturing would affect that performance," Walden explained. He estimated that about 20% to 30% of customers use the lab to test existing products, and a little more than half call on its specialized services when developing new innovations.
